my team and i curated a publication reflecting on the theme of intimacy and the way it manifiests through the phone. then, we asked people to text or leave a voicemail anonymously to our phone number and designed the question “if you could call anyone, what would you say to them?” we displayed everyone’s heartwarming texts on a paper curtain, mixed audio with all of their voices played through a red bluetooth telephone displayed in our phone booth and placed their written messages on a poster behind the curtain.
the public’s response was beneficial to making this project whole and complete. we thank everyone who participated for sharing a part of themselves and their life to include in this piece.
